We were blessed to have many of my immediate family here for Thanksgiving (16 of us in total). Family came from as far as Buffalo and Florida. It was five days of catching up, cooking, eating, laughing and loving.
On Tuesday night I gave my family their copy of the cookbook, which included a personal inscription for each person. My heart was full at this “unveiling” of the book, and I could feel Mom there with us.

On thanksgiving eve and day we made many of the traditional Italian holiday recipes that are included in the cookbook, including homemade cannoli (pictured above). These cannoli are a major undertaking and we make them only once a year. Do you have any foods you make once a year for your Thanksgiving holiday? I’d love to hear what it is!
